Joshua Tree Retreat Conference & Wellness Center

1.     No candles or incense burned in rooms.  There is a hefty charge for spilled candle wax, even if it’s only a drop.  (Carpet cleaning companies don’t like traveling this far out into the desert and charge accordingly)…also the fire risk is high this season.

2.     Please do not drink coffee or tea inside all meeting halls…water O.K

3.     IF YOU HAVE ANY REQUESTS OR NEEDS: there is a little black box (with a dragon on it) at the entrance of the dining hall…please fill out the request form and drop into the box.  Our crew checks this box for requests, every ½ hour or so.

4.     Please do not use our good towels for checking your oil.  We have extra rags that you can request.  Ladies, please use Kleenex to remove make-up before using towels (make-up often stains)

5.     Please: BE ENERGY CONSCIOUS – TURN OFF ALL LIGHTS BEFORE LEAVING YOUR ROOM

6.     The desert is unusually dark at night: when early evening comes, you can turn on your porch light so that you’ll be able to see your way after sessions

7.     Please: TURN OFF AIR CONDITIONING UNITS, OR LOWER HEAT BEFORE LEAVING YOUR ROOM FOR THE DAY

8.     If the heater in your room does not work, please fill out a work request form and place within the black box in the cafeteria (fastest way)…or, let office know before 5:pm

9.     Please do not MOVE or REMOVE furniture in rooms…there is a $100 charge if our crew must move things back AFTER YOU LEAVE

10. Please turn heaters or air conditioner units down, or off, when you leave the room.

11. This is the desert, please do not leave the doors open you may invite unwanted guests.

12. PLEASE: Report all leaky faucets.
